Supine postures for restoration and relaxing

When postures like Virasana (Heropose), Vajrasana (Thunderbolt pose), or Bhadrasana (butterfly) or even Sukhasana (Pleasant pose) are done in their supine variation they have immense psychological impact. Lower body gets bounded and in result emphasizing the blood supply to the upper body. As the chest cavity is opened up, lung capacity enhances and thus allows better oxygenation. A really good way to combat insomnia,stress,anxiety and therapeutic for high blood pressure and asthma.
