During Pregnancy the mucous membranes that line the inside of your nose become irritated as a result you will have a stuffy nose, itchy eyes, and post nasal dip. These symptoms seem to come out of nowhere during pregnancy. While it's not a life threatening medical condition, it can be bothersome. The cause of this is presumed to be hormonal changes during pregnancy. Estrogen is a logical cause as levels increase during the pregnancy due to the secretions from the enlarged corpus luteum and the placenta. There are things you can do to find some relief. First and foremost breathwork. Breathing in through your nose for 3 counts and breathing out through your nose or mouth slowly for 4 counts. And also follow the cares mentioned below.
