HOT APPLE AND CINNAMON TODDY (NON-ALCOHOLIC)

Hot toddies, as the name implies, are served hot. Heat does wonders for someone when sick. A hot beverage can soothe the throat and can provide someone the feeling and comfort of a warm hug. The heat also helps to break down and thin out mucus to help clear it from the body. INGREDIENTS : • 2 cups Apple cider •1 tsp Tea leafs •2 Cinnamon sticks •2 tsp Lemon juice •4 Cloves •1/2 tsp Ginger minced •Star anise cinnamon and sticks for garnishing. INSTRUCTIONS : •Take apple cider in a sauce pan and boil it. Now add tea leafs and simmer the flame for 5 mins. •As soon as the tea leafs start leaving color, add cinnamon sticks, cloves and minced ginger. Boil for another 5 mins. •Add lemon juice and stir well. U can also directly put lemon wedges into it. •Turn off the flame and serve the toddy hot with cinnamon and star anise as garnishing.
