Hey Asmita I Have Heard Drinking Milk At Night Causes Indigestion is it true❓

Studies confirm that about 60% Indians (68% of the World's population)are lactose intolerant to some extent.🙍 Too little amounts of Lactase enzyme present in the small intestine can cause indigestion from drinking milk/lactose intolerance, not only at night but any time of the day. Though some people can have low levels of lactase & are able to digest some milk products. 😫 So if you're not lactose intolerant & can digest milk just fine ...then no need to avoid it before bed, especially if you're looking for a better sleep.✅ Milk protein (especially tryptophan amino acid) improves the levels of serotonin & melatonin levels and improves sleep quality. The warmth of the milk also helps to calm the nerves especially if you've had a stressful day.😴 Adding in a pinch of turmeric/cinnamon/nutmeg/figs etc. in the milk can also be helpful to improve further health issues like- inflammation, constipation etc.💡 Don't forget to discuss further with your expert before starting though. ✨
