In PCOS, the gut microbiome is quite dis balanced leading to gastric concerns like bloating. Regular 10 minute walks post meals are a great way to check this gas formation. Taking 1-2 cups infused water like jeera, saunf or ajwain through the day can also help bring down bloating. Sugary & oily foods aggrevate bloating - thus keeping these to minimum is much suggested. Fresh home made curd is a great probiotic ( source of good bacteria). If taken regularly, it can help replace the bad bacteria thus improving gut health. 😊🦋 hope this helps !!

Totally agree with @Sonali Sachdeva here! Just to add on a few more pointers - not overdoing your tea/coffee, or foods that can potentially cause gastric distress like- raw pulses, sprouts, cruciferous vegetables & Onion, garlic, chilies etc. & including small healthy snacks in between main meals to bridge the long gaps between them (if there is)can also be really helpful to reduce bloating.

@Asmita Saha any more options for those who have lactose intolerance?

@Garima the main point here is to avoid the milk products that specifically causes gastric discomfort for them, however some people with lactose intolerance can safely have a moderate amount of curd & buttermilk. And to refrain from indulging too much of legumes or soy stuff since in large amounts these can also cause bloating.
