How I Manage My Anxiety Attacks 💚

I had an anxiety attack today, after many months. 🙅‍♀️The past me would - Deny it & take up more work to distract my mind. Which will worsen my situation & I would end up crying myself to sleep or having multiple random outbursts. Basically fake it till you make it. But the thing is I NEVER MADE IT. I ended up separating myself from my closed ones & going into depression for months to come. ✅What I did today - 📍Turned off all forms of external stimulation 📍Sat in silence & tried understanding what exactly I am feeling & why I am feeling this way 📍Prepared some detox/infused water (was a bit shaky then so made a mini mess) 📍Got some snuggles from my closed ones 📍Started sipping on the water & kept on with my deep breathing/ later meditation, whenever the aftershocks were getting hard to handle 📍Took a small power nap 📍Went on a long walk with mum & had a light chit chat I won't say I'm over it yet, but I know it's going to be okay soon. How do you de-stress yourself ❓
