Trace mineral -- COPPER ![ Part 1]

In many Indian homes, drinking water from a copper vessel is a common household practice. Research shows that if consumed correctly it can help balance the pH of the body. Functions of copper : * antimicrobial properties kill bacteria * cleanses the stomach, so used as a natural remedy for ulcers, indigestion & infections. * anti-inflammatory property relieves joint pain and strengthens bones. * makes the water more alkaline naturally. * breaks down fat & converts it into energy, thus aiding in fat loss. * it is an antioxidant, helps in reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Thus slowing down aging. * regulates heart rate, lowers bad cholesterol and triglyceride * aids in iron absorption in the gut * collagen production * maintains brain function But, remember that copper is a trace mineral that our body needs in small quantities.
