Heard that calorie deficit needs to be maintained for weight loss, so can that be maintained by consuming any kind of food, like pizza?

Calorie deficit is the correct concept Aman. But for example 1 slice of pizza can contain 300-400 calories depending on the toppings & base etc. One whole platter of roti/rice(high fibre grains), veggies, dal, salad can contain the same calories mostly less. Now you decide which one's more filling? The most important thing is to fill your stomach with healthy balanced meals. Pizza etc. in a small portion can be taken as a cheat meal once every 10-15 days.
