Locust pose variation- working those back muscles

You are strengthening the entire chain of posterior muscles when you practice backbends. Strengthening these groups of muscles will help to reduce back pain, have a good posture, better breathing, better spinal mobility and stability. Next time your trainer guides/cues you to engage, lengthen or contract certain muscle groups, do explore those minor adjustments to help you move deeper into postures.
