Snacks that can help you in keeping your gut healthy ๐ŸŒฟ

๐ŸŒ€1 cup grilled veggies (broccoli, mushrooms, beans, spinach etc) + 2 Tbsp hummus ๐ŸŒ€ 1 glass buttermilk + 1 whole banana or apple ๐ŸŒ€ Fistful of nuts (soaked) + 1-2 pieces of Dark chocolate (70% or above) ๐ŸŒ€ 1 katori curd topped with fruits or seeds or veggies ๐ŸŒ€ Dried fruits like 1 overnight soaked fig or 5-6 overnight soaked black raisins or 2 dates or 2-3 prunes etc. along with fistful of nuts (soaked) ๐ŸŒ€ 1 katori roasted chickpeas or any legumes of your choice seasoned with finely chopped garlic salt, pepper and lemon juice. ๐Ÿ’กPro Tip - When you soak your almonds discard the water but never remove the skin. Almond skin is not only an excellent source of fiber but it is prebiotic in nature. Meaning, the skin acts as a medium on which health gut bacteria ๐Ÿฆ can grow. Happy snacking โค๏ธ

Even my nutritionalist had suggested to always remove the almond skin before eating. (After soaking them overnight)
