🌲🌳Hugging trees 🌲🌳

Studies show that after people hug trees they report feeling calmer and more relaxed than those who do not. It has reported that hugging trees has been shown to increase the levels of the hormone oxytocin, which is the hormone responsible for emotional bonding and feelings of wellbeing, calmness and trust. Those who remember chipku movement will also know why the villagers hugged the trees and did not want them to be cut, it is important to safeguard or ecosystem and not trash. A humble request to everyone, don't throw garbage on roads and trails, try to shop minimally, recycle and upcycle products, stop using paper napkins (get a kerchief) There are so many ways to become minimalistic and sustainable, start now. #treehuggers @Riya Rawat @Shailja @Mansi Birla @Nitisha Rajpal what are your thoughts? I feel proud to say that Chipko Movement started in Uttarakhand (am from Uttarakhand😃) Yes @Smruthi settlur I feel instantly more calm and relax when am in nature. I always try to catch up Sunrise and sunset. In between classes also, I make sure to take a walk at terrace or look at the sky 🌱
