Well, your last meal was dinner and your body has not had any nutrition all night. Your body is really smart, if it needs glucose for energy it's produced very quickly, if your needs fats, it has access to it as well, but the one nutrient that your body hasn't had access to the entire night is PROTEIN. Your cells are dying, they're degenerating and protein is required to repair them. So protein should be your first meal of the day. Eating only poha or upma isn't the best options for breakfast. If you're a vegetarian add yogurt, sattu, paneer etc., If you're a non-vegetarian, add eggs but do not consume only carbs as your 1st meal of the day...!
