Being exposed to sunlight wakes up your body and allows it to adjust back to its normal sleep-wake cycle. ' Winter blues' technically referred to as ' Seasonal Affective Disorder ' ( SAD) typically means less light and more darkness, making you want to hibernate. You feel lethargic & drained out most of the time. Stepping out whenever the sun is shining( maybe a mid day stroll) is a great way to boost your mood at such times. Ensure to take your ' sunshine vitamin ' D ππthrough walnuts, eggsπ³, tuna or a supplement if required. Include colourπ₯ in your diet through seasonal fruits ππ₯ and veggies π n warmth with soupsπ΅ L thianine, an amino acid in green tea can create calm while keeping you alert. 1-2 cups a day are safe, don't go overboard...it does have caffeine !! Being around family and friends and pets can boost your mood and help motivate you to do the things you enjoy. π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦πΆ Think of picking a hobby you love πΎπ¨ππit will surely drive the blues away ππ
