๐ฑ Opt Low Glycemic Index (GI) foods. GI of a food describes how sharply it raises blood sugar levels after consumption. ๐Swap white bread with whole wheat bread. ๐Swap refined flour with wheat flour and explore other flours ( bajra/ jowar/ ragi etc.). ๐Consume white rice with whole pulses/ dals in equal proportions. ๐ฑOpt for foods high in Omega- 3 ๐ Fatty fish (salmon, mackerel etc.), flax seeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds and walnuts. ๐ฑBe mindful of chocolates and dairy products. Note- Enough research hasn't been done to establish a direct connection on the impact of dairy and chocolate consumption on acne. Since results are inconclusive make sure to consume them in moderation. Note- Be regular with consumption of curd as the healthy bacteria will help in improving the microbiota of skin ๐ ๐ฉ๐ฉ Limit intake of fried foods and sweets ๐ฅฒ๐ฅฒ Complete elimination will never help, balancing will โค๏ธ
