Travel and indigestion

Is rice a good option for better digestion during traveling? I always face indigestion during travel.. any tips would help.

Hi Gurveen! Please keep a check of a few things in your routine while travelling. Water intake, sleep & balanced meals that are not very high in fat & spices. Try choosing meals with colorful vegetables & lean protein, include whole fruits in snacks. Deep fried meals or snacks, spicy food, food high in refined sugar & simple carbs, carbonated beverages etc, can aggravate the heart burn. And about the rice here, it can cause heartburn because of its spice content & added peanuts. You can include rice in your travel meals but make sure you have some veggies on the side & a source of lean protein, don't keep long gaps between meals.
