Does dieting actually work?
Yes, dieting does work. What makes a difference is the type of diet. So fad diets, restrictive diets usually don't work since they're not sustainable. What works in the longer run is a nutritionally dense and a balanced diet where no food or food group is eliminated.
In short if you are unable to follow a diet it does not mean that you have failed the diet, the diet has failed you instead!
