Chai time ⚘️

Confused about when to take your tea and what to have with it ?? Nothing is more welcoming than a hot cup of tea, for tea lovers ! But, as we drink this beverage we must remember that it contains an anti nutrient ( tannin) which binds to nutrients and hinders their absorption in the body. So, it's best to take tea as a stand alone mid meal rather than clubbing it with your breakfast, lunch or dinner. You can take some roasted chana or puffed rice or makhanas to go with it. Avoid biscuits, salty namkeens & fried snacks as they add only unhealthy calories. Ensure not to take it empty stomach as it can aggrevate acidity & create gastric discomfort. Restrict to maximum 2-3 cups of tea in a day & avoid adding refined sugar & artificial sweetners. You can try substituting with little date syrup or 1/2 tsp raw sugar & see if that works 🤗🤗 Here's my cup of tea with 1/2 tsp raw sugar( khaand) ....I've added pink salt in this home made mixture to give it a little healthier touch !!

Nice. I restricted tea to 2 cups, only issue is the cup size. It's almost 150 ml 😜

150 ml completely works. Restrict the sugar & you are good to go
