Recently, there has been a lot of buzz around dairy products. Some say it causes inflammation, some believe it should be avoided in PCOS and very recently milk was also been held responsible for causing Diabetes. Honestly, speaking no research claims or holds responsible milk and milk products for any metabolic disorder, it should be avoided only when you are lactose intolerant (a condition when you are unable to digest milk) or when you are allergic to milk (like skin acne/rashes). On the other hand considering Asian genes are more prone to the development of metabolic disorder🫠 it's always good to opt for Cow's milk or skimmed milk instead of full cream buffalo milk as the saturated fatty acid content is high and can contribute to a deranged lipid profile. Also, moderation is the key😍 so 1 or 2 servings in the form of milk/ paneer / curd is fine. Curd is definitely a winner here because it's loaded with probiotics which is literally your gut's best friend 😉😎
