But I avoid salt ! ~Said Lucy while dipping her sushi in soy sauce🧂(spices & condiments are hidden sources of sodium❓)

Yes... unfortunately most common sauces & condiments we use to dip & flavor our food are all pretty heavy sources of sodium. Here's a list for you : 🚨Soy sauce - 902 mg sodium 🚨MSG - 2061 mg sodium 🚨Ketchup- 167 mg sodium 🚨Tomato sauce - 80 mg sodium 🚨Mustard - 73 mg sodium 🚨Chili sauce - 372 mg sodium 🚨 Mayonnaise - 105 mg sodium 🚨Fish sauce - 4170 mg sodium 🚨 Oyester sauce- 1476 mg sodium 🚨 Schezwan sauce - 1060 mg sodium 🚨 Guacamole store brought - upto 280 mg sodium 🚨 Hummus store brought - upto 200 mg sodium Now these values can change depending on the brand , also if they're homemade or not The sodium content can be a lot less for homemade varieties (for example- Tomato sauce, Guacamole, Hummus, sour cream etc.)as salt is mostly used for increasing shelf life & flavor purposes. Hopefully now it'll be easier for you to choose which condiments to choose 💡to favour your BP.
