Looks like the smoothie thread is going to continue 🤭

This one is a pretty common combo🍓🍌 Strawberry - 10-12 small Ripe banana - 1 medium Flaxseeds - 1 TSP Skim milk - 1/4th cup Mint leaves - 8-10 (optional , you won't taste it) Pumpkin seeds - 1 TSP (on top) Now anyone can have this, but why is it specifically good for you hypertensive folks? 📍 Strawberries contains an antioxidant named anthocyanin, which can help in smoother blood flow through your blood vessels 📍Bananas are rich in potassium, which reduces the effect of sodium in the body & lowers BP 📍 Flaxseeds are rich in fibre & heart healthy fats. They also help to control the BP 📍 Pumpkin seeds have a high magnesium content & helps to control BP 📍 Peppermint present in mint leaves can also lower BP (*contradiction - it's not suitable for people who are on medication for BP & diabetes) 📍Skim milk/low fat milk is filled with calcium & vitamin D and since the fat content is low, helps in controlling BP. 🚨NOTE - just to be safe discuss with your expert before trying!
