Down with the FLU !!! 👩‍⚕️🤒

Weather change...caught a cold 🤧🤧 running temperature ? Usually, symptoms of viral are accompanied with loss of appetite, change in taste( mostly bitter) & many a times gastric discomfort like acidity. At such times, it's quite confusing as to what to eat. So, listing down a few food items that you can choose from. These will be easy to digest & also help in recovery. Stewed apple, cheeku, papaya[ other fruits can be taken if the throat is not affected] Thin khichadi/ daliya ( use moong dal) Porridge ( using broken wheat/ suji) - add a little jaggery Juice of ginger+ little honey+ pinch of black pepper powder Soft roti + loki sabzi/ paneer bhurji( using home made paneer) Warm fresh soups Fresh curd( should not be sour/ refrigerated) Coconut water Soaked peeled almonds Gradually, within 3-4 days, as the symptoms improve, you can come back to your usual diet Another important point is...stay well hydrated. ..a fever tends to dehydrate you.
