Rice and diabetes

Rice and roti are not the villian. What makes the difference is what you are eating in combination with rice or roti. So next time you wish to have rice make sure there is a serving of cooked vegetables, a serving of raw salad and a serving of dal/ curd/chicken/fish on the side. This combination will ensure that the overall glycaemic response is within the desired range 😉

Yes just be careful with proportions so 1 katori rice with 1 katori rajma and 1.5 katori salad because without veggies your gut will be sad...
