All the new mommies complain about it, so here are the postures that you can regularly practice to reduce tailbone pain. In downward dog, keep the knees softly bent to avoid strain on knees and knee pain. When doing the bow pose on abdomen, if stitches hurt please use cushion under it, and don't lift the knees up let the knees be on the mat, only lift the chest up. @Richa as discussed in class do these postures, let's discuss if you have doubts after you try. @Harini
