3 cups leftover chai (black assam tea) (strained)
2 cups milk
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp chai masala (optional)
2 tbsp corn starch
a dash water
2 tbsp chopped almonds
1 tbsp hot chocolate powder (for garnishing)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Mix together readymade tea along with milk, vanilla extract, sugar, and chai masala.
Bring it to a boil and turn off the heat. Mix together cornstarch with water and mix it well.
Pour it into the hot tea, and keep stirring for a minute. Bring it back on the heat and get it to a boil.
Cook till it thickens to gently coat a spoon.
Remove from heat and pour into cups. Garnish with almonds and hot chocolate powder. You can serve it hot, warm, or chilled.
