1 apple (peeled, de-seeded & thinly sliced)

pinch of cinnamon powder/a small piece of cinnamon stick

1 tbsp maida

2 tsp powdered sugar

1 tsp butter

1 clove

Method

Heat 1/2 cup water in a pan.

Add apples, cinnamon & clove.

Cook until the apples are soft.

Place the stewed apples in a baking dish.

In a separate bowl, rub the butter into the maida until fine.

Add the powdered sugar.

Sprinkle this mixture over the apples.

Bake at 180 degrees until golden brown.
