1.5 cups walnut
3 tsp white sesame seeds
1 cup jaggery
Roast sesame seeds separately on low medium heat for 3 minutes. Turn off the flame. Transfer to a plate.
Now roast the walnuts for 5 minutes on low flame so that the moisture in the walnuts evaporates. Transfer to a separate plate
Next, melt the jaggery over medium heat, and stir with a wooden spoon. Keep stirring till it melts and darkens in color. Test the mixture for 2 strings.
Add the walnuts and salt to the mixture and stir continuously. Make sure each walnut is coated with jaggery.
Spread on a baking sheet separating each walnut. Sprinkle sesame seeds when moist.
Let the walnut cool completely. Transfer to an air-tight container and store for a week.
