2 tsp finely chopped onion
pinch of black pepper powder
salt to taste
pinch of mustard seeds
1 tsp ghee
pinch of turmeric powder
1tsp finely chopped coriander
4 tsp oats
1/8 tsp jeera
20 grams of fresh coconut
a few drops of lemon juice
2 tsp green peas
Take a pressure cooker, and add ghee to it.
Then add jeera, mustard seeds & oats & sautee well.
Now add the onion, and green peas. Mix well.
Allow it to cook for 2-3 minutes.
Blend the tomato & coconut pieces together.
Add this tomato-coconut puree to the oats & mix well.
Add 1 cup water along with the salt & spices & give it a good mix.
Pressure cook it for 3 whistles.
Garnish with coriander & squeeze lemon before serving.
