1/4 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp urad dal
a handful of curry leaves
3 medium sized onions
1 tsp oil
2 red chillies (optional)
salt to taste
In a pan, add 1 tsp oil, add mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
Then add sliced onions, cook until the onions start turning golden-brown. Add salt to taste. Turn off the flame.
Once it cools, blend in a mixer. Serve with idli, dosa, uthappam or upma.
