1 large carrot
1/2 orange
1 inch piece of ginger
2 pods garlic
1/2 tsp butter or olive oil
1/2 onion
Make a paste of ginger and garlic
Heat butter in a pan, add the ginger-garlic paste
Chop carrots and onions into cube-sized pieces
Add to the pan and saute for another five minutes
Add a little water from time to time, ensuring that the carrot and onions soften
Turn off the flame
Cool the above mixture and blend into a smooth paste
Add water to make a consistency of choice and bring to a boil
Add salt and pepper to taste
Finally, add orange juice to taste, before serving
Ensure that the juice is made of sweet orange and not a sour one
